Puistokatu 15, also known as Villa Aria, is a real gem of student housing. This charming, historic residence is located right in the city center, in a great location by the lake, next to our office and XAMK. Villa Aria was built in 1896 as a general hospital and since 1954 it has operated for example as an educational institution for students studying to become teachers and as student housing.

The building was left empty for more than 10 years before it became the property of SAO and was renovated in 1998. Some of the apartments are small but have a spacious loft.

Villa Aria is a protected area and in the renovation they have tried to preserve as much as possible. As a student housing residence, Villa Aria is unique and as such we strive to preserve it for future generations.

Villa Aria is a summer hotel. The apartments can be used from autumn to spring and during the summer the apartments are used by the hotel. Residents does not have to pay rent for the summer, but it is possible to return to the same apartment in the autumn, after the summer hotel season have ended. We will inform the residents for more details about the summer hotel time in the spring.

Pets are allowed in all of our apartments.

Deposit money 0 €.
If the applicant has credit records the deposit can be as much as the amount of 1-3 months' rent.

Electricity contract
Electricity is included in the rent.

Water advance or payment
Water is included in the rent.

Additional information
All apartments are furnished. Furnished apartments have a bed, a desk and chair, a kitchen table and chairs, curtains and lamps (some apartments may have other furniture also or just some of these). Furniture is included in the rent.

Private parking lot, where you can rent a parking space with a heating pole for 10 € / month / parking space. You can use the parking lot only if you have reserved your own parking space.
Heating costs are included in the rent.
There are no washing machines in the apartments, but the building has a laundry room and the use of it is included in the rent. Apartments do not have washing machine connections.
Indoor smoking is prohibited. Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

The floor plans are also indicative, not necessarily to scale, and in reality the apartment can also be a mirror image of the floor plan.
